"Alias Smedley Pewtree or The Villain of Glitter Gulch" on
August 16, 2014, at the Hideout Park.
Rebecca Orth from Meade
will be playing the "damsel" and Sean Cross from Fowler will
be playing the "hero." (Is he actually a hero?... yea!... or
a villain?... boo, hiss!) Some of the cast will be familiar
faces such as Marc and Alice Ferguson from Montezuma, George
Lucas from Meade, Carol Salmon from Fowler, and Carol Hewitt
from Meade. New faces will be Sherry Brown from Montezuma
and Jose Loewen from Meade. Emcees will be none other than
Marshal Bailey and Cowgirl Jane of radio fame.
The story is set in
Glitter Gulch, an old mining town gone bust. It promises to
offer all the ups and downs of your typical melodrama with
participation from the audience expected.... so come out and
enjoy an evening of laughs as you experience Crooked Creek
Theatre.
There is no charge for
this event. We have some picnic tables in the park, but to
guarantee a seat, you might want to bring your lawn chair.
